The 2025 Little League World Series is underway. We're in Week 2 of the 20-team tournament, which features the 10 best American teams and the 10 best international teams. The winner of the U.S. bracket and the winner of the international bracket will square off in the championship game. The tournament airs nationally and globally on ABC and ESPN.
ESPN, which has aired the Little League World Series since 1982, has been accused of making a major "blunder" this year.
For years, fans have loved seeing former U.S. women's soccer star Julie Foudy on the broadcast. However, this year, fans have noticed that she is not part of the broadcasting crews.
The fans of the Little league World Series are missing her.
"So @espn , we're just going to ignore the Elephant in the Room? Where is @JulieFoudy ?? She represented everything that was good about the #LLWS. So much so, that she basically was the LLWS. Her fun filled energy was legendary! Now, it's flat. No spark plug, whatsoever. Who's next that you won't be able to come to terms on a new contract with from this LLWS crew?? Say it ain't so!" one fan wrote.

Foudy has landed on her feet, though
Foudy has landed on her feet in a big way, though, securing jobs with TNT Sports and HBO Max. She's also been enjoying some time off, spending family time in Hawaii, among other places.
Her daughter, Izzy, announced her college soccer commitment, too, choosing the University of Oregon.
"And the next chapter begins. Go slay Izzy!!! SCO Ducks!!! Beyond thrilled for you and the gals. 💚💛," she wrote.
While Foudy is missed during the Little League World Series, she's managed to fill her time quite well.
