Espanyol have secured the return of Luca Koleosho on a season-long loan from Burnley.
The young winger is back in familiar surroundings, having first joined Espanyol’s youth ranks in 2020 before breaking into the first team and later moving to Turf Moor in a £2.6m switch in 2023.
Koleosho made a lively start in England, impressing under Vincent Kompany and clocking up 15 Premier League appearances before a knee injury brought his momentum to a halt.
He fought his way back into contention the following season with Scott Parker at the helm, starting regularly in the early weeks. As the campaign wore on, though, he found himself used more from the bench - managing 30 games overall but with only one league start after mid-January.
