Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark keeps making history.
The Indiana Fever continue to battle through a critical stretch of the season without Caitlin Clark, who remains sidelined with a groin injury since July 15. In the 13 games she’s played this year, the star guard averaged 16.5 points and 8.8 assists, with the Fever winning eight of those matchups. However, in her absence, Indiana has struggled, winning just 50% of the games without the 23-year-old.
While the two-time All-Star continues to recover from the setback and hopes to return before the playoffs, she has continued to dominate WNBA headlines, from supporting teammates on the sidelines to achieving major milestones off the court.
WNBA Star Caitlin Clark on Track to Set Major Record
Clark has built a legacy for herself in women's basketball, and her name continues to make waves in the collectibles market. Per a new report from the Collectibles Guru, her 2024 National Treasures Rookie Logowoman 1/1 Auto has reached $456,000 in bids (including Buyer’s Premium) at Fanatics Collect, with 10 days remaining before the auction closes.
If the price climbs past $660,000, it would become the second-most expensive women’s basketball card of all time—behind only Clark’s own Flawless Logowoman 1/1 Rookie Auto, which sold earlier this year for $660,000.

The meteoric rise of Clark’s memorabilia mirrors her rapid ascent in professional basketball. After a historic run at Iowa that saw her set the all-time NCAA scoring record and lead the Hawkeyes to consecutive national championship game appearances, Clark entered the WNBA with unprecedented anticipation. She quickly validated the hype, delivering standout performances and earning the Rookie of the Year honor in addition to being selected into the 2024 All-Star and All-WNBA teams.
Her marketability off the court and dominance on it have fueled a wave of interest in women’s basketball, with collectors treating her rookie cards as prized assets.
Caitlin Clark’s Impact on the Game of Basketball
Although she has the style of play to back her up, Clark’s influence extends far beyond her stats on the court. Selected No. 1 overall by the Fever, her arrival in the WNBA has elevated television ratings, boosted attendance, and created unprecedented buzz around the league.
The Fever, who reached the postseason last year for the first time since 2016, view her as the cornerstone of their rebuild, and her return to the court will be critical to their playoff hopes. Indiana sits sixth in the WNBA standings with nine games left to play in the regular season.
