Palhinha And Bentancur To Start | 4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they look to earn a good result on their travels in the Premier League. Spurs managed to earn a 3-0 win over Burnley last weekend, which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.

Thomas Frank will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make some changes to his first team for this contest. Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur are expected to play from the start of this game, while Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray drop to the bench.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for Tottenham after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Cristian Romero will continue to play alongside Mick van de Ven at the centre of Frank’s defence as they look to maintain a solid shape defensively during the 90 minutes.

Pedro Porro will be named as the right-back, while Djed Spence hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if Spurs are to keep things tidy at the back this Saturday.

Midfield

Pape Matar Sarr, Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur will make up Tottenham‘s midfield. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if Spurs are to come out on top this weekend.

Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Mohammed Kudus will be a nailed-on starter on the right flank, while Brennan Johnson hopes to impress as the left-sided wide player. Richarlison will spearhead Frank’s attack down the middle. The Brazilian talent managed to get his name on the scoresheet versus Burnley, which should keep him in high spirits going into this game against Pep Guardiola’s men.

Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to impress in the final quarter of the game if the North London club are in need of a goal.
