CM Punk loves the current state of WWE as a company.
WWE Superstar CM Punk was a recent guest on ESPN’s First Take. When asked if this return to WWE has been everything he hoped for, Punk said the company is now everything he always thought it could and should be.
“For me, yeah, I think it’s been everything that I ever thought the WWE could and should be behind the scenes and in front of the camera,” CM Punk said. “That’s a better question to ask fans because ultimately, they’re my boss. They’re our bosses. I think they could agree.
“I did some pretty spectacular stuff with Drew McIntyre and unfortunately, I’m currently still [dealing with] a thorn in my side, Seth Rollins, involved in that whole vortex. We’re trying to move on from that.” [H/T: Fightful]
Punk will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship on August 31 at WWE Clash in Paris. WrestleZone will have live coverage for that event later this month.
