The Iowa high school football season is still mostly a week away, but there are a handful of teams set to compete in Week 0 matchups.
One of those will see Stanton take on Seymour in eight-player action live on the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network.

Stanton is coming off a winless 2024 season after going 13-12 the previous three years combined. Seymour, meanwhile, played just one game - a win over Melcher-Dallas - last year before scrapping the rest of the schedule due to having too few of healthy players.
This will be the first matchup between the two games, as they each try to get the 2025 season off on the right foot in hopes of making a playoff push this fall.
