3 Jets players who won 2025 training camp

Three New York Jets players who won training camp in 2025.

The New York Jets held their final practice of training camp earlier this week. They'll play their Week 3 preseason finale versus the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday evening. On Tuesday, general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn will be tasked with submitting their initial 53-man roster.

After that, every practice shifts from training camp to official preparation for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jets will also possess the opportunity to put together their practice squad next week once the waiver claims process is finalized on Wednesday. With camp officially in our rearview mirror, we've identified three Jets who won the process.

Sophomore running back Braelon Allen has looked bigger, faster, more physical, and explosive. The second-year ball-carrier will definitely have a role to play alongside Breece Hall in the backfield. The run-heavy Jets will utilize Allen as their hammer.

OT Olu Fashanu

Olu Fashanu is developing into a franchise left tackle. The former Penn State standout played in a swing role due to injuries as a rookie last season. Fashanu is now the unquestioned blindside protector, and he's performing like a top-10 pick at tackle.

CB Brandon Stephens

Veteran cornerback Brandon Stephens was signed to a lucrative three-year contract in free agency to play opposite Sauce Gardner. That's a position that has occasionally been tough for the Jets to fill. Stephens looked like a savvy and experienced addition at training camp.
