Iowa State coach Matt Campbell was furious with officials during the second quarter against Kansas State, following a penalty. The Cyclones were penalized with the rarer defensive delay of game penalty.
Safe to say, Campbell wasn’t a fan of the call. Once he heard the ruling, he went ballistic on the sideline, trying to get an explanation. In a 7-7 ball game, every moment was important.
Luckily for Iowa State, Kansas State’s Joe Jackson’s 17 yard run a few plays later ended in a fumble recovered by Drew Surges. The Cyclones took over and were in the process of driving midway through the second quarter. Campbell’s reaction can be seen below.
