South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers continues to add to his NIL portfolio ahead of Week 1. The Gamecocks star has signed an NIL deal with T-Mobile.
Sellers – who has a $3.7 million On3 NIL Valuation – is part of the company’s “Friday Night 5G Lights” initiative to promote high school football. Florida quarterback DJ Lagway is also part of the program and filmed a commercial with Patrick Mahomes and Rob Gronkowski earlier this offseason.

The Friday Night 5G Lights program, T-Mobile is offering high schools a chance to win $5,000 every Friday, and 25 finalists will get $25,000. The grand prize winner will receive rewards such as $1 million, an upgraded weight room from Gronk Fitness and a trip to 2026 SEC Championship.
“High school football was a huge part of my journey,” Sellers wrote in an Instagram post. “That’s why I’m so excited about how @tmobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights is changing the game for small town schools across the country.”
LaNorris Sellers’ soaring On3 NIL Valuation
Following a breakout 2024 season at South Carolina, LaNorris Sellers has emerged as one of the top names in college football. His $3.7 million On3 NIL Valuation puts him at No. 7 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation. He also landed agreements with Collegiate Legends – receiving his own custom action figure – and Raising Cane’s this offseason.
Additionally, Sellers was one of nine athletes to join Beats by Dre as part of its third-annual “Beats Elite” NIL class. He also starred in an ad through the agreement, and he told reporters last week it came about quickly after a practice and just before the Manning Passing Academy.
“It was one day after practice or something, they asked me if I wanted to do it,” Sellers said. “We got it in the works. I shot it after practice, and then I had the Manning Passing Academy the next day. … It took all day. At first, I’m not really the acting type, but they had me doing all the stuff. But I was just like, alright, let’s do it.”
LaNorris Sellers and South Carolina are making their final preparations for this week’s season opener against Virginia Tech. Kickoff is set for Aug. 30 at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.
