Silva probably regards that as being quite good given they Whites have not made a significant signing this summer.
But it is a situation he does not feel can continue.
"We have to sign players," he said. "We lost two wingers and a striker and the plan we said in May has not happened.
"We have eight or nine days to correct things. We have to sign at least three players before the end of the market.
"We are short in some positions, it's as simple as that."
