Minnesota’s week one opponent, the Buffalo Bulls, has released their two-deep depth ahead of this week’s Thursday night clash at Huntington Bank Stadium. There are not too many surprises on the Bulls’ depth chart coming into this week.
The depth chart does confirm that Kansas State transfer and sixth-year veteran Ta’Quan Roberson will be the starting quarterback for the Bulls. It won’t be Roberson’s first taste of Big Ten football; he previously played at Penn State.
Of Buffalo’s 16 returning starters from last season, only one returning starter is not listed as a projected starter or potential starter this week: DT Tristan Souza.
Key returning starters include running back Al-Jay Henderson, who had over 1,200 total yards last season and 10 touchdowns, wide receiver Victor Snow, who totaled 651 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2025, and linebacker Red Murdock, one of the nation’s best Group of Five defenders with over 150 tackles and 16.5 tackles for loss last season.
