The Senegal international also struggled at the Club World Cup, picking up a red card against Flamengo.

Chelsea are now in negotiations with Bayern, with the German club wanting a loan deal for Jackson.

Chelsea would prefer a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy Jackson, as these conditions would help the club make a move for Simons or Garnacho.

Jackson arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2023 and has scored 30 goals for the club in 81 appearances.
