New Premier League club readying offer to hijack transfer move for Chelsea player this week

There is a new Premier League club who are readying an offer to hijack one transfer move for a Chelsea player this week.

There are plenty of clubs seemingly lining up to sign Chelsea defender Axel Disasi this week and we’ve heard names such as Bournemouth. But Wolves have also been trying to come up with a way to sign Disasi in this final week of the window as well.

Chelsea have also been linked with signing a new centre back themselves this late in the window, although that one looks very unlikely right now because other clubs appear to be going in for him.

But the main thing is that Chelsea need player sales and they need to move on a number of players and only now have six days left to do it. There is a lot of work to do and a lot of business to get done for Chelsea.

Disasi will surely go, and it’s seemingly been Bournemouth who have been moving the hardest on him and he’s looked close to making a move there.

Sunderland hijack?

Are Sunderland about to hijack Bournemouth’s move for Disasi this week? Well, according to one source, yes they are!

Reliable French journalist Fabrice Hawkins posted on his X account yesterday afternoon:

“Sunderland are ready to send formal bid for Axel Disasi. Bournemouth also interested and can offer a loan + option to buy not mandatory. Two other top clubs monitoring the French defender.”

Bournemouth offer no good

Chelsea cannot just send him out on loan again unless it contains an obligation to buy and not just an option. So Bournemouth’s offer is no good for Chelsea in my view, so hopefully Sunderland do come in.
