Vote now for the Providence Journal high school field hockey preseason player of the year.

Where are the high school field hockey fans?

It’s your time to shine as The Providence Journal unveils its field hockey preseason Player of the Year ballot.

To drum up more community support for the upcoming fall season, we are publishing our preseason player of the year ballots. These ballots, created using our players to watch stories, have no bearing on postseason awards and are published to celebrate the new season.

It’s up to the fans to decide who they think should be the ProJo’s preseason MVP. Fans can vote from now until midnight on Sept. 1 for the field hockey preseason player of the year. More ballots for other fall sports will also be posted, so be on the lookout!
