The Brewers open at home against the White Sox on March 26, 2026. They also play the A's in Las Vegas in June.
The Milwaukee Brewers will kick off the 2026 season at American Family Field – good news, considering opening day will be the earliest in team history.
The Chicago White Sox will travel north on I-94 for a three-game set that kicks off on March 26, a day earlier than the Brewers’ previous earliest lid lifter, which came on March 27 this season against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
It will mark the first time since 2021 the Brewers will open at home and the third time the Brewers and White Sox will have played in their initial series of the season; the teams opened at Comiskey Park in 1986 and at County Stadium in 1995.
In all, six of Milwaukee’s first eight series next year will be against American League opponents, with the Tampa Bay Rays following the White Sox in to complete the team’s initial homestand.
The Brewers’ first road trip will consist of three games at Kansas City from April 3-5 and at Boston from April 6-8.
Here are some other notables:
-- Milwaukee plays only one National League Central Division opponent in the first five weeks of the season, the Pittsburgh Pirates from April 24-26 at American Family Field.
-- The Cubs come to town June 26-28 and Sept. 7-9 while the Brewers travel to Wrigley Field on May 18-20 and Sept 1-3.
-- The Brewers play the A’s in a three-game series at Las Vegas Ballpark from June 8-10. The teams played a pair of exhibition games at the same venue on March 8-9, 2024. Las Vegas will eventually be the new permanent home for the A’s, who are currently based in Sacramento.
-- A 10-game road trip will be Milwaukee’s longest, with a three-game set at Arizona from July 3-5, a four-game set at St. Louis from July 6-9 and a three-game set at Pittsburgh from July 10-12.
-- The Brewers then emerge from the all-star break with their lengthiest homestand consisting of three games each against Miami from July 17-19, the New York Mets from July 20-22 and Colorado from July 24-26.
-- Milwaukee’s holiday home games will come on Memorial Day, May 25, against St. Louis, and Labor Day, Sept. 7, against the Chicago Cubs.
-- There will be two consecutive West Coast trips for the Brewers, consisting of three games at San Francisco from July 27-29 and at the Los Angeles Angels from July 31-Aug. 2, and then three games at San Diego from Aug. 10-12 and four games at the Los Angeles Dodgers from Aug. 13-16.
-- Eighteen of Milwaukee’s 27 games in September will be against NL Central Division opponents, including closing at home with three games against St. Louis from Sept. 25-27.
-- A nine-game road trip will immediately precede that season-ending series at home. The Brewers kick it off with three games at Pittsburgh from Sept. 15-17, play three at Baltimore from Sept. 18-20 and finally three at Philadelphia from Sept. 22-24.
-- Milwaukee has two stretches of 17 straight games without a day off. Those are the team's longest such stretches of the season. They span from July 31-Aug. 16 (10 road, seven home) and Aug. 25-Sept. 9 (nine road, eight home).
Home and game road times will be announced at a later date, and game dates are subject to change.
