Here is where the New York Giants sit in the 2025 wavier wire order as NFL roster cutdown day has arrived.
The NFL's cutdown day has arrived, and all 32 teams, including the New York Giants, are making some very tough decisions.
Teams started last week with 90 total players and have already begun making moves to free up roster spots in an effort to get down to their official 53-man rosters by 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Most of those transactions have come via releasing players, and the Giants have been among those teams getting an early start, with some cuts coming last Friday and over the weekend.
Once all those players are let go, many of them are subject to the NFL's waiver wire and can be claimed by other teams. That order was established last year based on overall records and playoff results.
By Wednesday, teams will find out if they were awarded a player (or players) they put in a claim for, or if they missed out because that player was already picked up.
That begs the question, where do the Giants sit?
