Dylan Mingo, a five-star point guard in the 2026 class, is taking an official visit to Miami this weekend, he told Rivals.

This will be the second official visit for the 6-foot-5 rising senior of Long Island Lutheran (NY) as he visited Washington earlier this month.

Mingo also holds offers from schools like UConn, Alabama, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Baylor, NC State, and others.

He is ranked as the No. 5 overall player in the Rivals Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 1 point guard and the No. 1 player in New York.

More from Mingo

In a previous interview with Rivals, Dylan Mingo discussed the next steps in his recruitment and what he wants in a college program.

”I’ll probably take anywhere between five to eight visits,” Mingo said. “I’ll probably bring going on them anywhere from after Peach Jam to probably November, or December. If it goes well, I’ll most likely commit before my season.

“I want to play for a coach that values me a lot,” Mingo said. Well, not even just the coach, the whole program. I want to have a strong relationship with the coaches, especially the head coach, and the whole coaching staff. And a winning program. I’d like to compete for a championship, and also a program that’s willing to play a freshman.”
