There's some more talent in the room now.
Ravens sign Pro Bowl QB to join Lamar Jackson originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Baltimore Ravens' solar system orbits Lamar Jackson.
But their quarterback room just got more talented as a whole on Wednesday.
The Ravens signed old friend Tyler Huntley to their practice squad, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
That brings to the forefront one of the most amusing facts in recent NFL history: Huntley made a Pro Bowl as a QB, back in 2022, a season in which he played in six games and somehow was the only guy who actually wanted to go.

The Ravens brought in a new backup this offseason in the form of former Cowboys QB2 Cooper Rush. He'll start the season on the active roster behind Jackson.
Huntley was let go of the Dolphins after the 2024 season and spent part of the summer in Cleveland's quarterback mess, but once back on the open market, the Ravens swooped in quickly to grab the player they affectionately call Snoop.
The 27-year old has started 14 games in his NFL career and has a 5-9 record in those games.
He has completed 64.6% of his NFL passes with 11 touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions while also running for 644 yards (4.6 ypc) and five touchdowns.

The Ravens certainly hope they won't need Huntley on the field. They'd much rather have Jackson out there healthy at all times.
But Huntley will be a familiar and potentially comforting face in the QB room, too.
Rush brings a new perspective, while Huntley brings back lots of knowledge of how Jackson likes to approach things.
It has the potential to all come together very nicely.
