Oklahoma State quarterback Hauss Hejny is expected to be out several weeks as he recovers from a left foot injury, sources tell On3’s Brett McMurphy and Pete Nakos. The TCU transfer is expected to miss at least five weeks and undergo surgery.

Hejny exited in the first half of Oklahoma State’s season opener against UT Martin. A former four-star recruit in the 2024 cycle, he played in four games a year ago before taking a redshirt. Oklahoma State opens Big 12 play on Sept. 27 against Baylor and visits Oregon in Week 2.

Hejny was 5 of 10 for 96 yards and a touchdown on Thursday night before his exit, rushing for 27 yards on four carries with a touchdown, too. Zane Flores came in for Hejny, leading Oklahoma State to a 27-7 win and throwing for 136 yards with a 65% completion percentage.
