Welcome back to BTSC’s Friday night open thread:
- Next weekend we will once again have Steelers football, but in the meantime, we’ve got one more weekend. How are you spending your Labor Day weekend? Any fun day trips? BBQ’s? Family gatherings? Share what you’ve got on tap for the weekend.
- Yesterday, the biggest news in the NFL was the Micah Parsons trade. While that doesn’t really impact the Steelers, Parson being a former Nittany Lion has some fanbase crossover and I don’t know many Steelers fans who will pass up an opportunity to poke fun at the Cowboys and Jerry Jones. Have at it! Share your thoughts, jokes, whatever, on the trade, Parsons, and/or Jerry Jones. Personally, I have heard folks complain about the Rooneys over the years, but I find Jones to be the example that proves it could always be worse!
- As it’s the last weekend before the Steelers season kicks off, I want to hear all of your most homer and irrational takes heading into the season. It could be about specific players, the team as a whole, playoff predictions, I don’t discriminate. Whatever you got, I wanna hear it. For me, I think the Steelers get to 11 wins, win a playoff game, and Kaleb Johnson eclipses 1,300 scrimmage yards.
