Chelsea are planning to make a decision on the future of Nicolas Jackson on Saturday as they evaluate a number of options according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
Jackson is one of the players Chelsea are trying to move on before the end of the window, but with Monday’s deadline looming he’s still at the club.
The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, and he seems set to embark on a new challenge.
Chelsea set to make decision on Nicolas Jackson
Chelsea value Jackson at around £80m, but it’s clear they aren’t going to get that fee at this late stage in the window.
The Blues are now open to loaning Jackson under the right conditions, and he does have interest from a number of clubs.
Aston Villa have shown interest, but Jackson is reportedly very close to joining Bayern Munich, although the final details are yet to be agreed.

Chelsea want an obligation to buy included rather an option, and Solhekol has provided an update on the situation.
He took to X.com and said:
“Chelsea are holding talks now and plan to make a decision about Nicolas Jackson’s future tonight or tomorrow morning.
“They are evaluating a number of options and the player could also end up staying – although that is unlikely at the moment.
“There are at least three options and one is a package from Bayern Munich.
“We have reported previously that Juventus and Aston Villa are also interested.”
Chelsea sign Facundo Buonanotte on loan
With the Blues still deciding on Jackson’s future they have added another attacker in Brighton winger Facundo Buonanotte.

In a surprise move the Blues have signed the 20-year-old on a season loan with no option to buy, and he’s set to provide cover at number ten and on the right wing.
The Argentina international spent last season on loan at Leicester where he scored six goals and registered three assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
