Till is continuing his post-UFC run as he gets set to headline his third straight Misfits boxing event. He already has back-to-back wins over Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart, and is now going for the trifecta against one of his stiffest tests to date in Rockhold. And let me tell you, there is absolutely no love lost between the two combatants because they have been at each other’s necks all week. But, that will all come to a head later today because fists will be flying for real. For Rockhold (40), he will be making his boxing debut, though he is not stranger to the standup only fights, as he has competed at Karate Combat, scoring a TKO win over Joe Schilling, and also in the bare knuckle arena, losing to Mike Perry under the BKFC banner.

Has Rockhold lost a step or three? Sure, we all do as we age, but in the combat environment that can be a dangerous thing. He left UFC on a three-fight skid, so he is hoping to start a new chapter in his combat career with a win. But Till (32) is eight years younger than him and has been more active. He has more experience in the boxing sphere, so he has a leg up on him there. At the end of the day I just don’t see how this plays out well for Rockhold, as his he hasn’t really shown much over the later part of his career proving that he can mount a successful comeback. Yes, Till also left UFC on a three-fight skid, but he has been much more successful away from the Octagon the Rockhold has, so I give him the advantage come fight time.

How The ‘Prelims’ Look:

Carla Jade will defend her Misfits Lightweight title against newcomer Daryn Harris. Jade is 2-1 as a boxer after turning to sport following her time as a ring girl, defeating Nikki Hru at Misfits 18 to win the title. The model-turned fighter is making waves on the Misfits circuit, and another win will only elevate her stock further. As for Harris will be stepping into the Misfits ring for the first time, though she does have boxing and kickboxing experience under her belt, though she is mostly known for being an influence in the Miami area. A win over Jade will show everyone that she is, in fact, the real deal.

Jahad Ingram will face Banty Singh. At 13-8, Singh — who is fighting out of India — doesn’t exactly have a stellar record to boast of. The 24 year-old does have four knockouts on his resume, so there is that. As for his foe, he is undefeated at 7-0 with five knockouts, so this smells like nothing more than a fight to showcase and uplift the 24 year-old American boxer.

Demi Sims is a 28 year-old English television personality making her boxing debut. That said, her father is Tony Sims, a renowned boxing trainer that has worked with Anthony Joshua and Conor Benn. So while she doesn’t have actual combat experience, she is definitely being trained and coached properly. Her opponent, Nadeshi Hopkins, is an American actress who also doesn’t have any combat experience, but the 28 year-old is looking to kick off her new combat career off on the right foot with a debut win.

Who Needs A Win Badly:

Tony Ferguson will make his pro boxing debut to take on social media influencer Salt Papi, who is 3-2 under the Misfits banner. Ferguson has been training intensely, as always, for his combat comeback, but let’s not forget that he hasn’t looked good in very…very long time. In fact he is 0-8 in his last eight MMA fights, getting finished in five of those contests. “El Cucuy” is pushing 41 years of age while Salt Papi is just 31 years of age. He is younger, faster and more powerful than Ferguson at this stage of their lives, so I don’t see this ending well for the former UFC veteran. Salt Papi is coming off a loss, and while Ferguson has unorthodox MMA striking, there is no telling how that works in a real boxing fight. Salt Papi is actually a pretty decent boxer with speed and combinations that will help him get the job done. All that said, another brutal loss for “El Cucuy” could lead him toward Bobb Sapp territory.

Interest Level: 6.5/10

Dillon Danis and Warren Spencer will throw down for Misfits’ first professional MMA fight at 205 pounds for the inaugural Misfits MMA light heavyweight title. Danis hasn’t competed in boxing since being disqualification against Logan Paul back in 2023 in an embarrassing scene (see it here), and he doesn’t have all that much combat experience to speak of, if we are being honest, that doesn’t have to do with jiu-jitsu tournaments. That said, he will likely shoot for the takedown early against a man who is strictly a striker. I am actually surprised Danis didn’t pull out of this fight.

With a four-fight win streak under the Misfits banner, Chase DeMoor is coming in hot to defend his belt against Natan Marcon, who threw an egg at him during a recent face off. DeMoor threatened to skip the fight, but all signs are pointing to it going down. DeMoor is 4-2 as a boxer, and while he is known for being a reality TV star, he is a great athlete given his college football pedigree, and now as a boxer. I think he will be too much for Marcon to handle since he doesn’t have much experience and is 0-2 as a pro fighter. All signs point to this being a mismatch all the way around.

Joey Essex will make his boxing debut against Numeiro in a 160-pound fight. While Essex — a 35-year-old British reality TV star — has no combat experience, his uncle is the aforementioned, Tony Sims, so you’d like to think he did get some good pointers. As for Numeiro, the 28-year-old Portuguese influencer is 0-1 as a boxer and wants to return to the ring to prove he’s got the chops to make it in the combat business.

Ty Mitchell and Sean Hemphill will battle it out for Misfits Boxing Super Middleweight title in main card action. Mitchell is 34 years old and 4-2 as a boxer with three knockouts on his resume. The brawling Brit is is coming off a TKO win over Idris Virgo at Misfits Boxing 21 earlier this year. As for Hemphill, he has way more experience at 19-2 will 11 knockouts.

Amir Anderson will face Vitor Siqueira in a 160-pound fight. Anderson is a very skilled striker, winning 10 national amateur titles in three division, and won the 2023 National Golden Gloves and the 2024 Olympic trials. He is coming off a third-round TKO over Ernesto Olvera at Misfits Boxing 21, improving his pro record to 3-0. Siqueira is 8-1 as a pro boxer with heavy power. He has sharpened his tools training alongside former WBO super welterweight champion Patrick Teixeira, so there won’t be much Anderson can throw his way that will catch him off guard. This one should be competitive.

Amadeusz Ferrari and Rahim Pardesi will collide in a 170-pound bout. Ferrari is an experienced Polish MMA fighter securing four knockouts throughout his career. He has a fan-favorite aggressive style, which will definitely get the British fan-base going wild. In his Misfits Boxing debut in mid-2024, he came up short against Salt Papi after calling it a day on the stool in the fourth round. Pardesi, meanwhile, is a Pakistani actor who has one fight and one win in the sport of boxing. That should be enough to tell you that it will not end will for him.

Enjoy the fights!
