Talented 2028 WR Lamar Garrison commits to Florida State

Following Florida State’s upset win of Alabama, the Seminoles have now landed their second commitment of the weekend.

Three-star 2028 WR Lamar Garrison of Leesburg announced his decision on social media Sunday morning. He then shared more about his decision with Warchant.

“The love, the support and the coaching staff is just amazing,” Garrison said.

According to Rivals, Garrison is one of the top players to watch in the 2028 class as a top-250 prospect nationally in the industry rankings.

The Leesburg standout was in attendance at the Florida State-Alabama game on Saturday afternoon as well. He already has offers from multiple Power Four schools, including LSU, Syracuse, Georgia Tech and Cincinnati.

Garrison is the first commitment for Florida State in the 2028 class.

On Saturday, the Seminoles landed a commitment from 2026 wide receiver Jonah Winston.
