Spain will be one of the favourites to win next summer’s World Cup, which takes place in the United States, Canada and Mexico. They are well on their way to qualifying for the tournament after two wins from two in the qualifying group earlier this month, as they defeated Bulgaria 3-0 and Türkiye 6-0.
La Roja became world champions for the first and only time in 2010, and 16 years on, they will be hoping to repeat that feat with another golden generation, featuring the likes of Rodri Hernandez, Pedri and Lamine Yamal. And the home kit that Luis de la Fuente’s squad will be wearing in North America has now been revealed.
As per Diario AS, Footy Headlines and Opaleak has released images of Spain’s home kit for the 2026 World Cup, which will see a return to their traditional colours: dark red, navy blue and yellow.

In recent years, Spain have adopted a bright red jersey with notes of yellow, but there will be a significant change for the 2026 World Cup. The body of the shirt will be red with thin yellow stripes, while the collarbone/sleeve area will be dark blue – the same colour as the shorts.
Spain will hope that new kit proves to be memorable
The new kit has generated a lot of discussion since these leaks were revealed, but ultimately, Spain’s performances on the pitch will determine whether it is memorable or not. There will be a lot of pressure on de la Fuente’s side in North America, given that they have arguably been the best international side since the previous World Cup in 2022.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will officially unveil Spain’s World Cup kits in November, so in the coming weeks, it would be no surprise to see the away kit leaked. For now, the home one is all we know.
