Yes. The wait is over. The Indianapolis Colts have finally punted.

On Sunday, against the Tennessee Titans, the Colts punter Rigoberto Sanchez punted for the first time in 259 days. The team's first punt since Jan. 5.

The rare punt broke a long streak that had fans and commentators buzzing during the game.

During the broadcast, CBS Sports announcers Tom McCarthy and Ross Tucker joked about the lengthy punt drought:

This broke a mark that had stood for 85 years. Taylor also averaged an NCAA-record 48.2 yards per punt that season and was a unanimous first-team All-American.
