This is a special day.
Vikings' Isaiah Rodgers Sr. sets NFL record never done in the history of the league originally appeared on The Sporting News
Isaiah Rodgers Sr. needed just a half on Sunday to do something no player had ever done in NFL history over the course of a full game.
And he was exactly the sparkplug the Minnesota Vikings needed en route to a blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.
First, Rodgers returned an interception of Jake Browning 87 yards for a touchdown.
Then, he returned a fumble 66 yards for another touchdown.
Rodgers had a pair of forced fumbles, too.

ESPN's Field Yates shared that those two types of scores, and the two forced fumbles, had never been done in an NFL game by one player before Rodgers did it.
The Vikings pretty much had everything go right.
Carson Wentz greatly outplayed Browning in a battle of the backup QBs.
Jordan Mason was awesome on the ground getting the full workload with Aaron Jones out.
And there was Rodgers, making play after play after play.
It'll be tough for anyone to ever repeat what Rodgers did. He might hold this accomplishment for himself for a long time.
