Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has started the 2025 season like we thought he would start last season, as he has begun his third NFL season looking exactly like the player he was in Year 1.

Dalton battled injury and poor form last season as he failed to live up to the hype of his rookie campaign, as he had fewer receptions and yards to be a bit-part player for Joe Brady's offense.

But through three games in 2025? Yeah, Kincaid looks to be back to his old form, already totaling 151 yards and two touchdowns from 13 receptions, to have the same number of receiving touchdowns as he did for the entirety of last season.

“We talked about the type of offseason that he had,” offensive coordinator Joe Brady said. “He was here and just doing everything he had to do to get ready to go, and he had a strong training camp, and look when he's out there making plays, good things happen. Two of the three games, for him to start with a touchdown, that's huge for us. But he's a huge spark for our offense, and when he's out, there a lot of good things tend to happen.

"I'm excited that he's playing confident. He knows he's feeling healthy again. And you can see it for sure.”

In-form Kincaid gives Bills another weapon

With Kincaid showing the sort of form early, to go with Josh Allen, James Cook, Keon Coleman, and Khalil Shakir, the Bills suddenly have a quartet of weapons for Brady to dial plays up for.

With the Bills able to beat you in a variety of ways, whether on the ground through Cook, or through the air with Allen and his weapons, having his receiving tight end back to his best adds another element to what was an already potent offense.

We heard all offseason about Buffalo's need to get a true No. 1 receiver for Allen, but it is clear that at least through three games, the "everybody eats" mantra is working to a tee.

And that is made possible by Kincaid starting to become the dominant force he once was in his rookie season.
