CeeDee Lamb injury update: Cowboys' star WR has leg turned at awkward angle on tackle vs. Bears

This looked really bad.

CeeDee Lamb injury update: Cowboys' star WR has leg turned at awkward angle on tackle vs. Bears originally appeared on The Sporting News

CeeDee Lamb caught a screen wide to the right and was trying to make a play.

But when the Dallas Cowboys' WR was tackled from behind, his left leg got caught up.

It bent at an awkward angle underneath him, and the tenor of the Cowboys' season changed, at least temporarily.

CeeDee Lamb injury update

Lamb went to the sideline and was checked out there first with the lower left leg injury.

He then walked off under his own power toward the locker room.

Given Lamb's ability to walk, it seems like he might have a chance to return to the football game and like further trouble may have been avoided.

But until further news comes out, or Lamb comes back into the game, there'll be concern from the Cowboys fanbase.

Lamb has gone over 100 yards in each of the first two weeks of the season.

If he's out, George Pickens becomes that much more important after his offseason trade from the Steelers to Dallas.
