When the Chicago Bears had a 7-0 lead with 8:26 remaining in the first quarter against the Dallas Cowboys, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb suffered an ankle injury on a handoff. He did not record a single catch in the game.
Lamb is a big part of the Cowboys' offense. With him suffering this injury, many fans are not happy about it. With him being out of the lineup now, George Pickens will be the top receiving option for Dallas in the meantime.

When he suffered the injury, he was listed as questionable to return. Lamb did return to the game in the second quarter, but the ankle injury was still bothering him, so he returned to the sideline. The ankle injury is going to be a storyline to watch for with the Cowboys over the next several hours.
Dallas's next game is going to be against the Green Bay Packers (2-1) next Sunday night. If Lamb has to miss significant time with an ankle injury, it is going to be a major loss for this offense.
