Angelo Smith, a three-star safety and younger brother of superstar wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, has committed to Ohio State.
Ohio State has received a verbal commitment from Angelo Smith, the younger brother of superstar wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
Angelo announced his pledge on Sunday, Sept. 21, just three months after he picked up a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes at a camp on campus.
He is a junior at the Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood, Florida, and ranked as a three-star safety. He’s the No. 400 overall prospect in the nation and No. 46 in Florida in the class of 2027, according to the composite rankings from 247Sports.

The recruiting service lists Angelo as 5 feet 10 and 170 pounds and reported that he had also received offers from Miami and Toledo.
The Buckeyes only have a small handful of pieces in their 2027 class, leaving Angelo to join two top-100 prospects between Jamier Brown, a five-star wide receiver from Dayton, and Brady Edmunds, a four-star quarterback from Huntington Beach, California.
