LAFC continue to enjoy life since the arrival of South Korean icon Son Heung-min, as the Western Conference powerhouse walks into the halftime interval with a 2-1 lead over visiting Real Salt Lake.
Pablo Mastroeni's RSL outfit were fired into the lead by the Colombian defender Brayan Vera in the 14th minute thanks to a long-range blockbuster, but his stunning strike would be unable to stand the test of time thanks to the Black and Gold's dynamic duo.
First, Denis Bouanga would level the score at one-all in the first minute of added time with a typical calm finish dispatched into the bottom corner after being picked out by Son, becoming the first-ever in MLS history to bag 20 goals in three consecutive seasons.

It would then be Son's turn to get in on the scoring act two minutes later to complete a quick-fire double for Steve Cherundolo's troops, with the former Tottenham star picking his spot from just outside the box to beat Rafael Cabral low at his near post.
With the attacking pair quickly becoming one of the most vaunted duos anywhere in MLS, LAFC continue to look capable of making a serious push for MLS Cup honors come the end of the season.
