Manchester United are off to a tough start to the 2025/26 campaign with Ruben Amorim winning only two out of the first five games whilst securing a draw against Fulham.
The Red Devils recently secured their second win with a 2-1 triumph over Chelsea after Robert Sanchez was sent off in the first minute of the game.
Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro scored for United before the latter received a red card in the second half putting pressure on the other 10 players to hold out the lead. Chelsea pulled one goal back through Trevoh Chalobah but eventually it wasn't enough.
Amidst, dearth of positive results, former Man United star Christian Eriksen criticized club legends for constantly discussing about the players and club.
"You see how big the club is, how much people want to be involved with the club, even on the media attention," Eriksen told ESPN in an exclusive interview. "I think even now we speak about United here. It's just the power of the club. Obviously the more opinionated, the more feelings towards the club are negative, the tougher it is, because the fans follow their heroes on the TV and it doesn't help the players at the club.
"At the same time at United, as a footballer, there's always someone who has an opinion on one or the other, but you're just playing football. You try to focus on that bit, and I think United were good at that. The focus was on the game itself and not so much what people say."

What did Eriksen say about Man United winning domestic cups?
Eriksen during his time at Old Trafford won FA Cup and EFL Cup once each but the Danish star feels they hold no value at United than it means for other clubs.
He highlighted how the fans and ex-players are fixated on winning the league but with so many teams with some exceptional players, it is close to impossible for the Red Devils to match that level right now.
Eriksen wants Amorim to focus on domestic cups and feels winning those competitions would help them gain stability.
"It probably depends who you ask. If you ask a fan, they want to be back to winning the league every year for the next 20 years like they did ... this time of football it is almost impossible, to do that with so many other clubs having that many good players around. It's tough.
"I think obviously they want to get back to that to being stable as a top club, but even being there, winning the FA Cup and the Carabao in the last two seasons is something that any other club would be proud of to have done. Then there is also the size and the image and the feeling at United -- it's like it's not good enough. I think hopefully that will change. Even the Carabao [Cup] is a small thing, but at that moment it is a big thing."
Eriksen left United once his contract expired this summer and he joined Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg on free transfer and made his debut in a 1-0 defeat against Dortmund on Sunday.
