Andy Reid loved one factor in the game.
Andy Reid reveals 1 'beautiful' element of Chiefs win over Giants originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Kansas City Chiefs' defense made life hell for Russell Wilson and the New York Giants' offense in the 22-9 win at MetLife Stadium.
Allowing just 18.7 points per game, the defense, led by Steve Spagnuolo, wreaked havoc all night for Wilson as the home crowd often booed its starting quarterback. A brutal first half showing saw the defense give up just 115 total yards, and 3.8 yards per play, while picking off Wilson twice to add to his misery of a 7 of 13 for 39 yards stat line.
And for head coach Andy Reid, he loved one element of the win above all others.
"I thought defensively, we played another solid football game, "Reid said. "The turnovers were beautiful, we need to keep that coming, that's a real plus when you can get those."

Chiefs defense again proves decisive
After the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers that saw the defense give up 27 points and 394 total yards, the unit has stiffened considerably.
Against the Philadelphia Eagles, the unit gave up just 216 total yards and then against the Giants, allowing just 281 yards, while getting two turnovers in the process. So, things are tightening.
Yes, that could be because the Giants offense, aside from that Week 2 fireworks show against the Dallas Cowboys, has been one of the worst in football, and it could also be the after Week 1, Spagnuolo has made some adjustments that have helped push this unit to greater heights.
Any time you hold an NFL offense to just nine points, you are doing something right, and against the Giants, Kansas City's defense did a lot right, including getting two "beautiful turnovers."
