Jake Paul is going to enjoy quite a size advantage in his fight against Gervonta “Tank” Davis and the real proof came during the first faceoff between the fighters on Monday.

Ahead of their Nov. 14 showdown on Netflix, Paul and Davis shared a verbal sparring session on stage before coming face to face — or more like face to chest given the massive eight inch height advantage the YouTuber enjoys over his opponent whose most recent performance came at 135 pounds.

Prior to the faceoff, Most Valuable Promotions CEO Nakisa Bidarian revealed the rule set being employed when Paul and Davis clash in Miami.

The fight is taking place at a maximum weight of 195 pounds with the matchup happening across 10, three-minute rounds.

Paul and Davis are set to wear 12-ounce gloves and while the matchup is being staged as an exhibition as sanctioned by the Florida Athletic Commission, Bidarian revealed that there are going to be three judges scoring the fight ringside in case there’s no finish.

Typically in exhibition bouts, there is no winner declared but obviously Paul and Davis are attempting to raise the stakes in this matchup airing live on Netflix.

Regardless of the result, it won’t go on anybody’s record since the bout isn’t considered a professional fight.

The matchup serves as Paul’s latest spectacle after he previously beat 58-year-old Mike Tyson and then defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in lopsided fashion.

As for Davis, he’s seeking to bounce back after going to a draw in his previous outing against Lamont Roach. While the initial expectation was that Davis would run it back with Roach, he instead opted for the matchup against Paul in November.

Paul and Davis are scheduled to faceoff again with the fighters traveling to Miami for another pre-fight press conference on Tuesday.
