Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati sets ambitious goal target after opening account for Monaco

He wants more goals

Ansu Fati has been in the goals for Monaco after finally making his debut for the Ligue 1 club following a loan move from Barcelona.

The youngster netted on his first outing for the club in the Champions League against Club Brugge and then added another couple in a weekend win over Metz.

According to Diario Sport, Fati has already set himself a target for the new campaign and wants to score 20 goals in 2025-26 for his new club.

There’s no doubt it’s an optimistic target but Fati will have be feeling confident after banging in three goals from just 72 minutes of play with Monaco so far this season.

Fati will also be hoping to make his first start for the club after scoring twice last time out.

Adi Hutter’s side sit top of the table at the moment and take on Lorient next in Ligue 1 before a clash with Manchester City in the Champions League.
