English teams already lining up for Kane? (The Sun)
The recent news that — per a contractual stipulation — Harry Kane would have to inform Bayern Munich of his intention to leave the club in January, has stirred up a hornet’s nest activity for clubs who want Kane.
Per one report, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United could all be in the mix:
Kane’s Bayern contract expires in 2027, so there is a good chance he will return to England next summer, allowing Bayern to receive a transfer fee. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle have all spent fortunes on vastly inferior centre-forwards this year. All should have their eyes on Kane’s situation, even if he will turn 33 next summer. Even though a return to Spurs will always be the most likely option.
Yes, Newcastle United just signed Nick Woltemade, Manchester United brought in Benjamin Šeško, Arsenal inked Viktor Gyökeres, and Chelsea added Liam Delap…but this is Harry freaking Kane. If Kane does, indeed, want to go back to England in 2026, all of those clubs will toss aside their recent signees for the English goal scoring machine.
Aznou taking heat for Everton move (Sport Witness)
Could Adam Aznou actually have gotten more playing time by staying at Bayern Munich?
Maybe.
Regardless, German publication Ludwigschafen 24 took the youngster to task:
Everton summer signing Adam Aznou has found himself being criticised back in Germany, with a belief he’s missed his chance at Bayern Munich. Ludwigschafen 24 provide the coverage today in a somewhat snide piece about the Everton man in which it’s obvious they’re quite glad he’s not doing well at Everton.
Aznou left Bayern in the summer to join Everton, having grown frustrated with life at the German giants, where he wanted playing time but did not appear to be in Vincent Kompany’s immediate plans. His departure to Everton was highly publicised and Bayern chief Max Eberl’s ‘strikingly cool’ comments about the transfer, in which he made it clear that they were disappointed by it and the player, went viral.
He’s yet to get going under David Moyes, despite having moved in search of more regular playing time, and Ludwigschafen 24 say that is ‘quite remarkable’, commenting ‘there has been a lot of silence’ around Aznou since he left Munich. They accuse the Moroccan of choosing the ‘seemingly easier route’ at a mid-table Premier League club rather than competing for a place at Bayern. And they feel he’s been made to pay for that as if he’d remained at Bayern, he could be getting his chance thanks to an injury to Josip Stanišić. Or at least, the opportunity to make his mark might have been there.
They accuse him of lacking ‘patience and self-confidence’ to assert himself at Bayern, believing that international call ups and rave reviews ‘clouded his senses’ and led to his move to Everton.
Now there’s a real risk that his promising career will ‘quickly ended in a dead end’, something they’re very clearly delighted about.

Rashford wants permanent move to Barca (ESPN)
Marcus Rashford would like to make his loan from Manchester United to FC Barcelona a permanent deal:
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford hopes to make a permanent transfer to Barcelona, but the club may struggle to make it happen due to LaLiga’s wage cap. The Rashford, 27, is on loan at the club and has impressed so far this season, but The Daily Mail reports that Barca can’t afford to keep him long term due to his salary.
As it turns out, FC Barcelona wants to make it a permanent deal as well (ESPN):
Barcelona want to make Marcus Rashford’s loan permanent for a lower fee of £26 million, while Manchester United value the forward at a figure closer to £35 million, reports the Daily Star. The report says that the 27-year-old could find himself at the center of a transfer standoff as Barcelona try to get the best deal possible, taking advantage of United’s eagerness to get the striker off their books permanently. There is an option to make the deal permanent but Barca want to lower the price, while Rashford is determined to stay with the Blaugrana. Rashford scored twice in last week’s 2-1 win at Newcastle United in the Champions League.
Rummenigge hypes Olise, attackers (Goal)
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bayern Munich supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge spoke about his affinity for attackers.
“The attackers are the salt in the soup, as we say. Especially the wingers, like (Franck) Ribery, (Arjen) Robben, and now (Michael) Olise. And the center-forwards. Even Luca Toni. He wasn’t really convinced about coming to Bayern,” said Rummenigge.

Bayern Munich will host Werder Bremen in a Bundesliga match that — on paper — looks a little lopsided.

Khedira says Neuer is still the man (Sport1 via @iMiaSanMia)
Former Germany international Sami Khedira thinks that Manuel Neuer is still the best goalkeeper that Germany has to offer.
“Purely in terms of facts and sporting performance, Manu is still by far the best German goalkeeper. He made outstanding saves not only at the Supercup, but also at the Club World Cup. Manu proactively decided to retire [from the national team]. The most important thing is that he stays healthy. He has the ability, the mentality and the desire to win. For me, he’s by far the best German goalkeeper,” said Khedira.
