Roma still feels incomplete, with several pieces in need of urgent adjustment.

Even in Nice, their offensive output remained limited, and despite a two-goal lead, the Giallorossi risked reopening a game that seemed already over.

“Pisilli’s mistake was obvious,” Gasperini admitted post-match, “but we forgive him: he’s young. At this level, however, age matters little. He must learn quickly.”

In his European debut as Roma coach, La Gazzetta dello Sport writes, the coach nevertheless emphasized the positives: “Many players put in top-level performances. It’s true, we struggle too much towards the end: at certain moments, we need more clarity.” Among the remaining issues is the offensive aspect.

“The entire attacking phase must improve. The game was under control, but it always lasts 90 minutes,” Gasperini reiterated.
