Another Palestinian player killed in Israeli attack
Palestinian footballer Mohammed al-Satri, a player for Shabaab Rafah Club in the Gaza Strip, lost his life during an Israeli army attack in Rafah while awaiting humanitarian aid.
According to the official Palestinian agency WAFA, the tragedy occurred this Wednesday in southern Gaza. The Palestinian Football Association condemned this latest loss and reminded that since October 7, 2023, more than 355 Palestinian players have been killed in Israeli bombings. The association also emphasized that most of the territory's sports infrastructure has been largely destroyed.
The Palestinian footballer Mohammed Al-Satri was martyred after coming under Israeli gunfire that targeted civilians seeking humanitarian aid in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah.
