Arsenal/Arteta: "Eze still has much more to offer"
Arsenal celebrated Eberechi Eze’s first goal in their colors, and manager Mikel Arteta believes there’s still enormous potential to unlock in his new attacking midfielder.
Signed from Crystal Palace a month ago for £68 million, the 27-year-old Eze has already tallied two assists in four Premier League matches. Yesterday, he netted his debut goal during a 2-0 victory over Port Vale in the Carabao Cup.

"He played very centrally against a very compact side—it’s never easy to find space, but he responded really well with that goal and with three or four actions where he made a difference," Arteta told ESPN. The manager noted that Eze still needs to adapt to the pace and style of his teammates to make his impact even more consistent and effective:
Overall, it’s very good, but he still has much more to offer.
Eze started yesterday on the left flank, but Arteta plans to use him in various roles to fully exploit his qualities and create decisive moments:
We want to get him into spaces where he can produce magic—sometimes out wide, sometimes through the middle, depending on the situation.
Eberechi Eze scored this beautiful goal and didn't strip himself naked.
