Come see where you stand heading into Week 4
We’re wrapping up the first month of the 2025 NFL season, as both the Las Vegas Raiders and Chicago Bears will be looking to improve to 2-2 in Week 4. Also, we’re now three weeks into our Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition and have the updated standings below!
Odds below are provided by FanDuel Sportsbook and are subject to change.
Raiders vs. Bears
- Spread: LV -1.5
- Total: 47.5
- LV ML: -110
- CHI ML: -106
Holder’s picks: LV -1.5, LV ML, Under 47.5
If I based my picks on momentum, the Bears would be the easy choice after they dismantled the Dallas Cowboys while the Raiders got dismantled by the Washington Commanders last week. But I have confidence that Pete Carroll will get the guys ready to play after an embarrassing loss. It’s who he is as a coach, and Chicago showed plenty of issues during the first two weeks of the season to suggest last Sunday was a fluke.
Pick’em Competition
Moving on to S&BP’s Pick’em competition, below is a look at how our writers finished in Week 3.
- Bill Williamson 36-12 (75%)
- Matt Holder 35-13 (73%)
- Ray Aspuria 31-17 (65%)
There was no movement in our writer’s standings since Bill, Ray and I all went 10-6 last week. So, Bill still sits at the top with a one-game lead over me while Ray has some ground to make up, sitting five picks back from the lead.

Phantom Lord 51 12-4

We have some significant reshuffling on the community leaderboard. Phantom Lord was one of our top pickers last weekend and moved up into a four-way tie for first place with EdgarEdmo8, Tennesse Raider Fan and BadBax. Meanwhile, belenraider went from having sole possession of first place into a tie for seventh. That just goes to show it’s anyone’s game and a Sunday full of upsets can really shake things up in our competition.
Best of luck with your picks this week!
