The second injury report heading into Week 4 at Gillette Stadium.
The New England Patriots were down one starter inside the WIN Waste Innovations Field House.
Rookie guard Jared Wilson remained a non-participant due to knee and ankle issues on Thursday. But veteran outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson returned to practice in a limited capacity as the Carolina Panthers near Foxborough.
Here’s the second injury report heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
Patriots
- G Jared Wilson (knee, ankle)
Panthers
- WR Xavier Legette (hamstring)
- TE Ja’Tavion Sanders (ankle)
- LB Patrick Jones II (hamstring)
- LB D.J. Wonnum (hip)
Through three weeks, the Patriots have held the same combination on the offensive line. Wilson has stayed in for all 205 snaps at left guard. Yet with the No. 95 overall pick staying sidelined for back-to-back practices since then, former starting center Ben Brown finds himself in the projection. On the other side of the aisle, the Panthers continued to be without four during Thursday’s preparations.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
Patriots
- LB K’Lavon Chaisson (knee)
- LB Anfernee Jennings (hamstring)
- LB Marte Mapu (neck)
- CB Christian Gonzalez (hamstring)
Panthers

- WR Tetairoa McMillan (calf)
- DT Tershawn Wharton (hamstring)
Chaisson, who was sidelined with a knee injury to begin the week, has started every game off the edges this September and stands with 1.5 sacks. Four in all were limited for New England on Thursday, with pair of fellow linebackers scaled back and an All-Pro cornerback zeroing in on his 2025 debut. Carolina’s reigning 1,000-yard, 10-touchdown rusher also landed on the injury report due to a calf ailment.
FULL PARTICIPATION
Patriots
- WR Mack Hollins (hand)
- TE Hunter Henry (knee)
- DT Christian Barmore (not injury related — other)

Panthers

- WR Hunter Renfrow (not injury related — personal)
- OT Taylor Moton (not injury related — rest)

Five full participants became four full participants for the Patriots, but Barmore at defensive tackle joined that group after opening the week among the limited. Four Panthers previously on the report for non-injury reasons were also upgraded.
