Jack Catterall, Adam Azim, Ishmael Davis, and Richard Riakporhe all see action on November 15th
Matchroom Boxing, The Ring, and Riyadh Season have unveiled the full supporting cast for Chris Eubank Jr’s November 15th rematch with Conor Benn.
The evening’s chief support sees former title challenger Jack Catterall (31-2, 13 KO) make his first appearance under new coach “Bozy” Ennis against former British/Commonwealth welterweight champion Ekow Essuman (22-1, 8 KO). Catterall bounced back from last year’s competitive loss to Arnold Barboza Jr with a technical decision over Harlem Eubank in July, while Essuman defeated longtime Catterall rival Josh Taylor in May for his third consecutive victory.
Down at lightweight, top prospect Adam Azim (13-0, 10 KO) looks for his fifth consecutive knockout against Zaur Abdullaev (20-2, 12 KO), who saw a nine-fight winning streak snapped in his May interim title bid against Raymond Muratalla.
Super welterweight Ishmael Davis (13-3, 6 KO) makes a two-month turnaround after a painfully close loss to Caiominh Agyarko two weeks back, taking on domestic fixture Sam Gilley (18-1-1, 9 KO), while Richard Riakporhe (18-1, 14 KO) continues his heavyweight campaign against Tommy Welch (16-0, 9 KO) and Turki Alalshikh favorite Mikie Tallon (10-0, 1 KO) meets Fezan Shahid (4-2-2, 0 KO) at flyweight.
