Coach Prime said Shilo Sanders had a 49ers workout, and doubled down on his pride in his son’s future.

On the Colorado Football Coaches Show with co-host Mark Johnson, Coach Prime shared some news that lit up Buff Nation. Prime’s son, Shilo Sanders, the former Colorado safety, continues to chase his NFL dream.
“He…had a workout with the 49ers this past week,” Sanders revealed. Then he recalled a conversation with his son. “I say, ‘Son, just a random question. When the last time you’ve run?’”
Mark Johnson jumped in: “And what was his answer?”
Deion laughed as he recalled Shilo’s answer. “ I’ve been working out as I…you know…[Shilo] I know you like a book, son. Shilo is hilarious, man. He’s an entertainer.”

That entertainer side has always been central to who he is. “He was in California last week meeting with a bunch of agents because he has the opportunity to do movies and sitcoms and stuff like that and then YouTube content,” Deion explained.
From viral impressions of his father to Hollywood meetings, Shilo has proven to be a handful, but also one-of-a-kind. Deion didn’t hide his pride. “That’s who he is,” Sanders said. “Shilo’s going to make it.”
