Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba yells NSFW complaint into ref's microphone after penalty originally appeared on The Sporting News
It's probably best to make sure you're not walking by a live microphone before cursing at a referee.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba didn't make sure of that on Thursday night, and a whole stadium got to hear his complaint.
JSN was called for holding to bring back what would've been a touchdown run by Zach Charbonnet.
And as the official began to make his penalty call, Smith-Njigba walked by and screamed," That's some bulls—."

The referee stopped what he was doing and gave JSN a staredown.
But Smith-Njigba did get away without a further penalty.

It was a big call, too.
Instead of the touchdown, the Seahawks had to settle for a field goal at the end of the drive.
With more than nine minutes left, they went up 20-6, instead of 24-6.
But it could've been worse. Smith-Njigba certainly could've earned himself a second penalty on the same play for that loud, well-heard complaint.
At least wait a bit to voice your displeasure next time, JSN.
