AUGUSTA, GA (WJBF)- Week seven of Game Night Live brings us to the Academy of Richmond County, hosting the Harlem Bulldogs in a 3A region 4 matchups.
The Harlem Bulldogs suffered their first loss on the year, dropping a close 26-21 game to West Laurens last week at home.
The ARC Musketeers on the other hand improved to 2-3 on the year with their 53-8 victory against Cross Creek. The series between Harlem and ARC are dead even, with both programs winning 10 games apiece. Both coaches with mutual respect for one another and the talent, as it’ll shape up to be another battle.
“Their run game speaks for itself. They got some hogs up front that like to move people around. All in all, it’s going to be us playing a physical brand of ball, playing our style of ball on the offense and defensive tip. And like I said, just letting the chips fall where they may, as long as they get the best version of Richmond, I like our chances,” said ARC head coach Keenan Grissett.
“In their losses, they have a lot of close games against tough opponents. They’re coached really well, coach Grissett and his staff do a great job with those guys, that program is just growing, expanding, and getting better and better and better. They’ve got a really good football team, we’ve got our work cut out for us for sure,” said Harlem head coach Mark Boiter.
Kickoff is set for Friday, 7:30 p.m. on the CW6.
