Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets has confirmed he will hang up his boots at the end of the current MLS season with Inter Miami.

The 37-year-old has posted a video on social media to announce his plans.

“These will be my last months on the pitch. I’m retiring very happy, proud, fulfilled, and above all grateful,” he said.

“I feel like the time has come to say goodbye to my career as a professional footballer. It’s been almost 20 years of enjoying this incredible story I always dreamed of.”
