BTB Friday Discussion: Will you feel relief after Sunday’s game is over?

Will any part of you feel relief about the Cowboys/Micah stuff finally being over after Sunday?

The Dallas Cowboys traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers about a month ago now. Thursday marked the four-week anniversary of the deal.

To say that things have been chaotic for the team since, or that they were chaotic for the month leading up to it, would be putting it lightly. When training camp first started everyone was excited about names like Kaiir Elam and Donovan Ezeiruaku (there is still time for that excitement to translate this season, by the way) and then the Parsons volcano exploded and that consumed everything concerning the Cowboys at large.

Sunday night’s game between Dallas and Green Bay will mark the culmination of all of that energy on some level. Whether the Cowboys win or lose, at the very least when the game is over it is done with. The Cowboys won’t have to worry about any direct impact to/from Parsons until a potential playoff meeting (speaking matter of factly here) or any future contest. The rest of this season will finally be free.

Personally I view this as a bit of a root canal in that way. We know it is going to be uncomfortable and weird and annoying, but when it is over it will be over.

Do you share this disposition? Will you feel some sort of relief on Monday morning just because the situation is finally in the past?
