Bayern Munich vs. Werder Bremen: Live stream, game time thread, odds, prediction, how to watch

Can Bayern extend their record-breaking scoring streak in the Bundesliga?

After an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Champions League, Bayern Munich capped off the week with a 4-1 victory over Hoffenheim. Vincent Kompany’s squad rotation made the Bundesliga match a little difficult, but Harry “Hat trick” Kane delivered another clutch performance. Bayern’s 18 goals through four Bundesliga matches is an all-time record that Kompany’s squad are poised to used as a building block.

In the last 31 competitive matches against Bremen, Bayern have only been defeated once, although that 1-0 loss occurred at the Allianz Arena merely 20 months ago.

Bremen have won the Bundesliga four times (1965, 1988, 1993, 2004) but have also failed to finish higher than eighth place since 2009/10.

Odds: Bayern (-2000), Draw (+1200), Bremen (+2500)

Prediction: Bayern wins, 4-2. Bremen will score in the first 15 minutes on a set piece, stunning the home crowd. In the 27th minute, Michael Olise will cut inside and score one of his patented left-footed curlers. Bayern will explode out of the halftime break with three goals in ten minutes. Luis Díaz, Kim Min-jae, and Serge Gnabry will each receive an assist from Harry Kane. Kane will be held scoreless but celebrate more than any other teammate. Bremen will claw back a useless goal in stoppage time.

It’s Bayern time.
