Portland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson sustained a left hamstring tear during an off-season workout this week.

Henderson will begin rehabilitation and is expected to return to basketball activities in 4-8 weeks. His status will be updated as appropriate.

Henderson is entering his third year where he would have likely begun the season with more opportunity to lead the team, particularly after Portland traded Anfernee Simons for a guard who takes up less offensive opportunities in Jrue Holiday.

Henderson averaged 12.7 points and 5.1 assists in his 66 games last season (10 starts).
