Christian Collins officially visiting Kentucky; Cam Williams visit postponed

Another big official visitor this weekend.

Mark Pope and his staff are hard at work in the gym at the moment as they start their season with their current roster. However, that has not slowed the staff down on the recruiting trail.

Still looking to pick up their first commitment in the 2026 class, the Kentucky Wildcats will host another big-time player on campus this weekend.

Arriving on Thursday night, 5-star Christian Collins has kicked off his official visit to Lexington. Trying to make a move in this recruitment, the Cats seem to be in a good spot as they battle USC and Oregon for another top-tier player from California.

Collins, a 6-8 and 200-pound forward out of Bellflower (CA), is currently considered the No. 7 player in the class according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He is also considered the No. 2 power forward in the class.

Going to be interesting to see if the Cats can pick up some steam in this recruitment and land the top-10 player. This visit will be a key player in seeing if that can happen.

The Cats were also expected to host another 5-star player this weekend in power forward Cam Williams. However, according to a report by Jacob Polacheck of KSR, the visit has been postponed due to airline issues. Luckily, though, the top-five player will be getting this visit rescheduled.

Now, all the focus turns to Collins while working on getting Williams on campus relatively soon.

A lot of moving parts, folks. Let’s see who this staff closes in on.
